EMPLOYEE FINANCIAL HEALTH AND RETIREMENT READINESS ARE KEY DRIVERS TO BOTTOMLINE PROFITABILITY

Financial health and retirement readiness are two important factors that lead to more productive and satisfied employees. This presents a huge business opportunity for forward-thinking companies to invest in the financial well-being of their employees. Roughly 85 percent of Americans are anxious about their finances and that anxiety directly impacts their work. Financial stress contributes to productivity losses, increased absences and healthcare claims, higher turnover, and the increasing costs associated with workers who cannot afford to retire on time.

Employee financial health and retirement readiness solutions create opportunities for employers to build a healthier and more productive workforce while building a solid foundation for a healthier and more profitable business.

Every day more information becomes available providing evidence that American workers are stressed and that finances are a leading cause of their stress. This is a huge issue. And when it comes to business, it has a huge impact. Employee financial stress needs to be addressed; otherwise, it can eat away at productivity and profitability. Just as more companies are investing in the physical health of their workers, they should also be investing in their financial wellness. When a company invests in employee financial health, they can increase staff engagement, differentiate themselves from competitors, and ultimately drive business growth.

ABOUT BEAU

I was studying at the University of Georgia to be a psychologist when my father passed away from lung cancer. He was only 49 years old. I felt helpless as I watched my Mom, who had been married to my Dad since she was 18, struggle to deal with all of the financial decisions that needed to be made. I had to take a break from my studies to return home and help her piece her life together without my Dad.

During this heartbreaking experience, I realized I could make a truly profound difference in someone’s life by helping them navigate important financial decisions. Thanks to my interest in psychology and fascination with financial matters, I found a career I love.

It's been more than 15 years since my Dad passed. And, in that time, I have been in the trenches working side-by-side with over 3,000 individuals and families to help them successfully bring together both the financial and behavioral aspects of life, work, money and retirement in meaningful ways. I can help your employees do the same.

I pioneered the integration of the financial and behavioral aspects of motivation, satisfaction, and overall well-being and wrote a #1 best-selling book about it - The RichLife - 10 Investments For True Wealth.

I currently host The Retirement Resource Podcast to provide anyone preparing for retirement with a true resource to get the right information and tools they need to successfully navigate both the financial and non-financial aspects of retirement.

I'm also a founding board member of The Retirement Coaches Association. My professional designations are RICP®, CLTC, NSSA® and CPRC and I am the Founder and CEO of RichLife Advisors Financial, LLC.

The Retirement Resource

I know you’ve got a lot riding on the experts and consultants you bring into your business. They -- their message, their style, their presence -- all need to “fit” with your employees, your company culture, and your business goals.

I’ve been speaking to groups - large and small - for over 15 years while building a successful financial planning business. So I know how to tailor a message to achieve a business goal because I’ve done it... over 200 times. And, I understand how critical it is to be reliable, responsive, and ready for anything. That means when you hire me to consult with your company, you get a partner dedicated to helping you achieve your business goals.

Winning The Mental Game of Retirement

Summary

Studies focused on retirement satisfaction report that people retiring today are unhappier than ever before. Experts in the field of retirement psychology find that while some individuals transition smoothly into their golden years, others have a much more difficult time, and they typically don’t talk about it because they’re embarrassed. Retirement is supposed to be about living the good life, but how do people set themselves up so that they also feel good?

Winning the game of retirement isn’t just about how much money someone has saved in the bank; it’s also about preparing for the social and emotional issues that can arise. Most financial planners focus solely on financial health, but money alone does not guarantee someone will have happiness or even satisfaction.

This presentation will empower your employees with highly practical tools to create a life that supports a true sense of fulfillment during retirement.

The Connection Between Physical and Financial Health

Summary

We know taking care of our bodies is important, but most of us don’t make the connection between our health and our wallets. Stress caused by debt and money worries doesn’t just make us poor in terms of our bank accounts; it also depletes our physical well-being. What’s more, it can have a negative impact on the people living with us, such as our children and spouse.

There is a direct connection between physical and financial health. Whether someone is single and just starting out on their own, or a parent with a household to run, everyone can almost always strengthen and improve their financial position by doing something now to addressing the problems they are facing.

Target Audience

Companies comprised of both younger and older workers looking to enhance productivity and profitability. Companies wanting to empower healthier lifestyle and financial choices for their employees.
